My name is Desiree Stewart, I am the founder of SETLL, my background is in social work. I was a senior social worker in adult social services for over a decade. I have seen the decline in government funding and the effects this has had on the older generation. This has placed huge pressures on families and the volunteer sector. With more older people choosing to remain living in their own homes, organisations such as SETLL have become more of an integral part of the community.
